JULY, 2018: We Won!!!

We are thrilled to announce that we won the RETAS award for Best Independent Card Retailer in London. We are particularly proud as we had tough competition from some amazing shops including Medici Gallery in South Kensington and Caxton in Temple Fortune. We won the award for "Excellence in all areas across the retail spectrum over the last year, including range of greeting cards stocked, product knowledge, customer service offered, shop environment created, marketing, display and competitive edge."

We really would like to say a heart-felt thank you to all our lovely customers - we know we really couldn't have won this award without your custom, kind words and support throughout the years.

Retas 2018 Finalist

APRIL, 2018: We're a Retas Award Finalist again

We're so happy to announce that we've been nominated again for the Retas Awards. Now in their 14th year, the awards were launched by Progressive Greetings magazine to recognise and reward the UK’s very best greeting card retailers from right across the retail spectrum. Greeting cards are sold in one in six shops in the UK, reaching the finals of The Retas is a notable achievement.

The winners of this year’s prestigious greeting card retailing awards - The Retas 2018 – will be revealed at an Awards lunch at the glamorous Dorchester Hotel on London on Wednesday July 11.

APRIL 2017: Retas 2017 Finalist

We're really pleased to announce that we've been nominated as Finalists in the Retas Awards 2017. The awards recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple greeting card retailers regionally and nationally, but also outstanding retail employees so we're really proud to have been selected.

Update: Unfortunately, we didn't win this year but we were proud to be in such good company. Congratulations to all the winners!

We were on the Tracey Ullman Show February, 2017

Back in August 2016, we were really excited to have a studio crew come and take over the shop to film a sketch for Season 2 of the Tracey Ullman show. It was  lovely to meet Tracey Ullman in person as she graciously came to thank us at the end of the shoot.

The final sketch was hilarious, if a bit racy. We've had lots of positive comments from customers and it was fun to see our little shop on the telly. We're not sure if you can still see it on BBC iPlayer but it may be on there for a while. Please take a look and let us know what you think.
