06 JAN 2021 | We Remain Closed
Happy New Year to everyone!
As you know we are in another national lockdown so we remain closed for now. However, we will do our best to help and offer a pre-order and collect service.
In the meantime, we hope you will all stay safe.
Savita, Steve and Sophie
19 DEC 2020 | Non-essential shops to close
Following the government's sudden announcement today, we are sorry to say we will be closing from tomorrow Sunday 20th December. From what we have read in the press we understand that we must close, along with all other non-essential shops in Tier 4, with the government reviewing the situation in two weeks time on the 2nd January 2021.
We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you all stay safe.
Savita, Steve and Sophie

15 JUNE 2020 | The comeback is always stronger than the setback
After nearly three months of being closed for the safety of our customers, we are pleased to let you know that we will be re-opening on Monday 15 June, 2020. We have adjusted our opening times temporarily to 10am to 4pm every day Monday to Saturday and we will be putting measures in place for your safety. From Monday, we will be adhering to the 2m distancing rule and only allowing in a maximum of three to four customers at a time. We will be cleaning surfaces regularly throughout the day, installed screens on the counter for when we are serving and will have hand sanitiser available for your use. We are really looking forward to seeing you soon.
23 MARCH 2020 | We are closing temporarily
Dear lovely customers,
Our shop is small and over the last few days, we could see that it was impossible for our customers to maintain a safe distance which is so important at the moment. In order to keep you safe, we have made a very difficult decision to temporarily close our shop. We will, of course, open again as soon as it's safe for us to all mingle.
Thank you for your support and understanding. We will be letting you know when we re-open on our Instagram account
Please stay safe,
Savita and Steve
MARCH 2020 | We are a Great Gifts Retailer 2020 Finalist
We received some surprising and welcome news that we have been selected as a finalist in the Great Gifts Retailer 2020 Awards.
The Greats Awards, now in their 18th year, were launched by Progressive Gifts & Home magazine to recognise and reward the UK's very best gift retailers across retail.
"These dedicated awards for gift retailers have risen immeasurably in status over the years and are now universally acknowledged as being true accolades of excellence," commented Sue Marks, Editor of Progressive Gifts & Home. "Being selected as a finalist was a fantastic achievement. There was a huge entry this year, with some outstanding, first class entries."
All retail finalists were decided as a result of an industrywide poll of gift suppliers, reps and agents and validation by a panel of experts.
The winners of this year’s prestigious gift retailing Awards - The Greats 2020 – will be revealed at an Awards lunch at the Honourable Artillery Club, in London’s trendy Shoreditch, on Wednesday May 13.
The Awards recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple gift retailers regionally and nationally, but also outstanding retail employees.

JULY, 2018 | We are RETAS Best Independent Card Retailer
We are thrilled to announce that we won the RETAS award for Best Independent Card Retailer in London. We are particularly proud as we had tough competition from some amazing shops including Medici Gallery in South Kensington and Caxton in Temple Fortune. We won the award for "Excellence in all areas across the retail spectrum over the last year, including range of greeting cards stocked, product knowledge, customer service offered, shop environment created, marketing, display and competitive edge."
We really would like to say a heart-felt thank you to all our lovely customers - we know we really couldn't have won this award without your custom, kind words and support throughout the years.

We're really pleased to announce that we've been nominated as Finalists in the Retas Awards 2017. The awards recognise and celebrate not only the top independent and multiple greeting card retailers regionally and nationally, but also outstanding retail employees so we're really proud to have been selected.

We were on the Tracey Ullman Show February, 2017
Back in August 2016, we were really excited to have a studio crew come and take over the shop to film a sketch for Season 2 of the Tracey Ullman show. It was lovely to meet Tracey Ullman in person as she graciously came to thank us at the end of the shoot.
The final sketch was hilarious, if a bit racy. We've had lots of positive comments from customers and it was fun to see our little shop on the telly. We're not sure if you can still see it on BBC iPlayer but it may be on there for a while. Please take a look and let us know what you think.
